> Please state your length of time working at Interocean.
It has been almost three and a half years since I joined the Interocean team as a Senior Geotechnical Engineer back in June 2021.
> What inspired you to join the Interocean team?
I was inspired by the wide range of marine projects Interocean support with, ranging from seabed surveys to commission and decommission of any offshore assets.
Interocean has a team of talented individuals who have the expert knowledge and skills to provide invaluable services during every aspect of a project’s lifecycle. It is inspiring to work alongside professionals that you can learn from, allowing you to develop your own career. The development and growth opportunities Interocean offer also inspired me to join the team.
> What is it like to work for Interocean in the Middle East and what does a typical day look like for you?
At Interocean, no two days are the same and I am always getting involved with and switching between various exciting projects and commitments as they come in. I typically start my day feeling energised and like to begin by prioritising email communications, focusing on pre-existing projects.
> What is your favourite thing about working at Interocean?

I envision significant growth in operations across the Middle East, supported by a greater recruitment drive. I believe that young talent are key to shaping the future, particularly through the adoption of new technologies and innovations. I anticipate increased efforts to recruit and train young professionals, equipping them with the skills and expertise needed to excel offshore projects and drive the company’s success.
> Tell us a bit about life outside of Interocean.
I am a father of two daughters, so I will mostly be busy taking care of my kids and supporting my wife with daily routines. We have lot of relatives and friends here in the UAE, and we enjoy family gatherings and outdoor camping. I also used to enjoy going out to play cricket during the weekend.
